Elevation Classes in the Atmosphere
Abstract
The introduction of elevation classes into the atmosphere model breaks the assumption of a one-to-one mapping between the atmospheric physics and dynamics grids. In this poster we describe how a more general framework allows all of the atmospheric physics to be applied to a variable number of elevation classes within each grid cell.
