Poster Submission

We invite ACME team members to submit a presentation abstract for the ACME Fall meeting. The submission process and categories are the same as it was for the ACME All-hands Meeting. The following 3 topics are solicited: (R) Early science or computational Results from the ACME project, (P) Problem-solving or issue topics to solicit ideas and feedback toward creative solutions, or (F) Future directions that ACME could consider (and why).  A few abstracts may be selected for short oral presentations in plenary session and/or within the Group break-outs, the others will be presented in poster form.  A poster template with a quad-chart type format will be made available.  Abstract submissions should be submitted by Oct 12; notification of oral or poster will be made before Oct 19.  The abstract should include the category R, P or F and should identify a target Group or Experiment (Land, Workflow, Water-cycle etc.).  Abstract submission will be collected on our Confluence website, see instruction in Fall Meeting Poster Abstract Submission. For each poster the Confluence page will be created to upload your electronic version of the poster. All ACME members will be invited to leave comments and start discussions on the poster topic or problem. We hope to foster conversations that will then be continued in person at the poster session, and then later on again in electronic form on Confluence. Please go to Fall Meeting Poster Abstract Submission page for specific instructions on abstract submission.

Nomination for Awards

We will continue with awards for ACME team members in recognition of those who have gone “above and beyond” to contribute to the project. This includes demonstrated commitment, important scientific or technical ideas or advances, or noteworthy inter/intra-disciplinary teamwork. DOE BER management will present 2 awards twice per year. The award nominations are solicited for ACME team members; Group-Leads and Council members should be excluded.
