Retrospective
This is a retrospective of the 2016 ACME Fall Meeting with the aim to identify improvements for the next ACME meeting. Please note what you liked and did not like about the meeting, what you would like to see improved, where did you feel like there was not enough time or if there was too much time spend on something, or maybe something did not get covered that you would like to see added to the next meeting.
What did we do well?
- excellent technical support +3
- sessions were structured well +3
- serving food facilitated interactions
- highly productive SE team meeting and JIRA deep dive meeting.
What should we have done better?
- schedule and organize the meeting earlier +1
- more time available in the schedule for informal conversations +3
- vegetarian options were missing at meals +2
- have hotel provide better internet +3
- more room for discussion around posters
- would prefer to avoid evening break-outs (except Deep Dives rehearsal time!) +1
- still don't tend to find report-outs from break-outs that useful - captured already in most groups meeting notes
