Abstract


One of the pervasive needs of the ACME community is a means to produce, view and share figures that are generated as output from the AMWG, LMWG, and newly compiled coupled diagnostics packages.  Most of the existing solutions are ad-hoc, and are strictly limited to viewing/browsing the figures via a desktop browser or application.  This approach is a limitation when those figures require distribution to other team members for collaborative review and engagement.  The ACME Classic Viewer resolves this problem by providing a centrally organized repository for figures that have been generated by the various diagnostics packages.  The Classic Viewer leverages an end-to-end workflow that entails figure generation, movement, viewing and sharing that can be embedded into larger ACME workflows.  This poster outlines the simple procedure for utilizing the classic viewer and possible avenues for improvement of the user experience.
