Abstract	ELM development efforts during the 3-year Phase 3 project cover a range of topics, from high-resolution capability on GPUs, to continued development of advanced biogeochemistry and dynamic biogeography, to improvements in infrastructure support and model documentation. Here we review each of the major development tasks, and describe a timeline that connects with E3SM versions 3, 4, and beyond.
