Abstract

The single-column model (SCM) is very useful for understanding model behavior. The atmosphere team plans to develop a robust and easy-to-use SCM framework. This presentation will describe those plans in detail and will provide examples of ways that the SCM has proven useful in the past for understanding model behavior.
