Caveats/Notes:

Used in many E3SM post-processing packages, including E3SM-unified, E3SM_diags, MPAS-Analysis, e3sm2cmip, Zppy, and LIVVkit. The most common NCO uses in these packages are regridding, climatology generation, and timeseries extraction.
