Request Breakout Session in 2019 Meeting

Please add your request for the breakout session at the 2019 E3SM Meeting. You can request Breakout session and room – please check the agenda (when available), and add your preference for Breakout number  (in column "Request Breakout #").  Renata McCoy will assign the breakout, put it on the Agenda schedule and indicate the assigned breakout room/time in the notes section. If you would like a change to already assigned breakout, please contact Renata.  Please sign in as soon as possible, due  .

Note: The request for breakouts here is meant for the meetings that are mostly relevant to one particular group of people, more or less independent of other groups. Anyone can request a breakout meeting. The agenda topic page (Propose a topic for 2019 Spring Working Meeting) is meant to be for topics relevant to more then one, small group of people, and is part of the agenda for all.  It can be requested to be in plenary or a breakout room. The distinction is a tad fuzzy, when creating the agenda we will take into account the propositions here and the agenda topics.

Moving land model to same grid as river model (uniform lat-lon 1/2 and 1/8).

Duplicate: already proposed on Propose a topic for 2019 Spring Working Meeting

Chris Golaz, Tian ZhouWater Cycle, jointly with other groups?

Motivations:

  • Simplify interactions between river model (including water management) and land model.
  • Limit number of supported land grids to reduce time spent generating land input files.
