Introduction to MPAS-Analysis
Abstract:
MPAS-Analysis is a diagnostic tool for exploring E3SM output from the ocean and sea-ice components (MPAS-Ocean and MPAS-Seaice). Simulation results can be compared against observations or between different E3SM runs. In this presentation, I describe some basics of configuring MPAS-Analysis and present analysis results from a Water Cycle, Cryosphere and Biogeochemistry simulation, highlighting analysis that may be of particular interest to each campaign. Details of how to set up and run MPAS-Analysis are largely left for a forthcoming tutorial video,
