Abstract

Tuning high-resolution global atmospheric models is a time-consuming and computationally intensive exercise.   A proposed and discussed (but not developed) use of the Regional Refined Model (RRM) tool is its use as a aid to tune the high-resolution model faster with fewer computing resources.   This poster presents a workflow method to use RRM with ACME's high-resolution model output to aid in tuning for future releases.
