Vector plots currently available in AMWG
- Polar surface wind vector (vs NCEP only)
- Surface wind stress over ocean (vs NCEP, JRA25, ERS, Large-Yeager), but vector quality is poor)
Wind speed and vector winds I would like to include, and currently not available from e3sm diags
- Global surface wind stress
- Global 10 m wind speed
- Global 10 m wind vector (wind vector and speed can be on the same or separate plots)
- Global 850 hPa wind vector
- Polar 10 m wind speed
- Polar 10 m wind vector
