Summary

  • Two 1-year long simulations were performed with ALMv0 hydrology and VSFM. The tests were performed on Edison with same git hash and processor layout.
  • Results show that 
    • Simulation with VSFM is 2X expensive as compared to one with ALMv0 hydrology.
    • The increase in computation cost is not only limited to LND run time, but CPL run time increases too.
