Abstract

The Offline land model testbed (OLMT) automates case creation, setup, build and execution of single point and regional ELM simulations for testing and validation. Model output may be compared with flux observations where available, for example at eddy covariance sites. OLMT may also be used to perform perturbed parameter ensembles (PPEs) which can then be used for sensitivity analysis and model calibration. Here we demonstrate the use of OLMT to assess biases in ELMv2 and reduce them perform model calibration.
