Overview:

This is an atmosphere-only compset with perpetual 2010 forcings based on CMIP6 input4mips data on ne120_oRRS18v3 grids.

Aerosol Emissions:

  • 0.5 degree CMIP6 MAM4 aerosol emission files provided by Hailong Wang
  • DMF file (DMSflux.2010.1deg_latlon_conserv.POPmonthlyClimFromACES4BGC_c20190220.nc) is linearly interpolated between 2000 and 2101 from file DMSflux.1850-2100.1deg_latlon_conserv.POPmonthlyClimFromACES4BGC_c20160727.nc

Greenhouse Gas Concentrations:

  • Input file name: GHG_CMIP-1-2-0_Annual_Global_0000-2014_c20171026.nc
  • GHGs change smoothly, so we can just read the values for the year from the transient file rather than averaging.

Volcano Forcing:

  • Identical to F1950C5-CMIP6-HR
  • Keep the same volcano forcing for all fixed-time compsets as volcanos are sort of random events and we don't want the effects of volcanoes in the differences of those runs.

Land Use/Land Cover:

  • Use data for year 2015 because land build namelist script doesn't take 2010.

Tuning:

  • Identical to F1950C5-CMIP6-HR
